An AI-powered translation tool, Google Translate, is now available on the Finnish Rheumatism Association’s website. You can access it through the language menu in the top-right corner of the website. To use the translation feature, you must first accept website cookies.

The new tool makes the site’s content available in numerous languages. It is important to note that translations are AI-generated, so their quality may vary.

“Our goal is to make our content accessible to a wider, multilingual audience. The new automatic translation feature is especially aimed to better serve our immigrant communities. While we acknowledge that machine translations aren’t perfect, we believe this tool will help make our content more accessible. We encourage users to share their feedback about the translation feature,” says Head of Communication Minna Elo.

Beyond our current Finnish, Swedish, and English versions, the translation tool expands our language offerings to include e.g. Ukrainian, Somali, Russian, and Estonian. Content originally in Finnish is now available through our translation feature.

Feedback on the functionality of the translation tool can be sent by email to toimitus@reumaliitto.fi.
